Blade Runner

Blade Runner is a film that I have seen at least about 100 times.
I think it is a film mandatory for any architect,
Designer, or anyone who has in his hands the task of creating
Objects or what ever you want to call it.

Many relating to previous films are taken from Blade Runner,
and I think it is necessary to understand this movie to understand better many aspects of our contemporary culture

Many of the objects that we have around us, are the result of the influence of eastern and western culture. In turn, one of the greatest inspirations of Eastern culture is based on material goods of designers, architects and engineers who were raised watching movies like blade runner.

Thus, it is extremely important to understand that some aspect of our contemporary culture are results from different historical events affecting ever to the generations that preceded us

final post

I believe, and like all of us, that speak and write in English is the best thing we can do to improve our English. Most of the people in who don’t know anything about this language and travel to a English speaker country, learn in just a couple of weeks to speak an understand this language almost perfectly.

I can assure to any one who ask me about this experience, that being in this class, was quite a very god idea.

Posting every week is fun, special if those post most being written in English, because is very difficult to me, write in English. Now I can “translate” quite better my speaking English to “written” English.

I’m very glad now, because now i know the existence of a very fascinating web site: http://www.ted.com/. Really, now a watch a video almost every week, especially on my weekends.

This “blogger experience” is actually very fun. Consider the idea of reed all the instruction in English is very useful, now that a have a older brother living in Boston and that I actually going to visit this December, I don’t have afraid to get lost!

The fact that I have to write in English forced me to find new ways to improve my English throw the Internet, such as online translators web sites, English web sites with useful information, whatch movies, and so on.

Although I have been very busy this last week because of the university, I have tried to speak English with English-speaking people. My future sister-in-law helped me to do this. It's different talk in English with people who dominate English with people using it in their daily lives, and that there are certain details that one does not take into account, such as street talk

In general I can say that this tool has been a great help

Sherwin Nuland: My history of electroshock therapy

It's was very entertaining the theme of which is spoken at this conference, at the same time how it becomes a talk about a personal experience.
Some time ago I saw a documentary on the discovery channel where they spoke about the same, about the first experiments with living persons applying these techniques of electroshock. They talk about theories of reset the brain and showed videos really shocking because they showed people with some kind of delay contorting in pain. Thanks to god, these techniques will be set aside and used only in a responsible manner and in accordance with professional techniques really not like before, it was used in patients siquiatricos and inhumanely. I also saw once a documentary about lobotomy, and I found absolutely fascinating as doctors in the last century began to investigate almost paranormal effects that it had on the human body the manipulation of the brain.
